Set Us On Fire

We are asking you to set us on fire! If 30 people support the Training Center with 30 euro/month, for 6 months, our entire heating bill is paid for! Stand with us in blessing next year’s students?

Officially it is called the “YWAM Valdemarpils Training Center”, but most of us lovingly know it as “the Base”. The old building that 30 years ago was traded for a car, has been home to many students, staff, teams, and weddings and parties. We love having a full house, and we want it to be a home for everyone who lives here, by making sure that they are warm and comfortable in the winter.

And here is where we need your financial support. We don’t want money to stand in the way of people following God’s calling into joining the schools that we provide, such as DTS, and we also know that having faith for a large sum of money can be very intimidating. This is why we believe that God has called us, the Base in Valdemarpils, Latvia, to provide YWAM Schools at as low a cost as possible, so that they are available to as many people as possible. Our desire and heart is not to profit from our students, but to bless our students.

And every year our biggest bill is buying pellets that we use to heat up the Base. Every year this costs approximately 5000 euro. But we realized that if 30 people committed to supporting our heating bill with 30 euro/month for 6 months, we could pay for our heating bill! This way each person would cover one day of heating a month. Do you want to be one of these people, and stand with us in blessing next year’s staff and students?
